Ronda Rousey isn’t fighting again until November, but she’s still been busy making headlines for a different reason.
The UFC Champ has made history by appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2016 alongside Hailey Clauson and plus-size model Ashley Graham, wearing nothing but an expertly-painted Camilla swimsuit.
The now famous cover-shoot has won praise across the board, from fans to Ronda’s fellow professionals, and video has now been released of exclusive behind the scenes footage filmed during the shoot.
The session sees Ronda painted up in a leopard themed swimsuit, and at one point she can be heard to say: “This is the longest I have walked around naked since I was like ten.”
It’s fair to say that both the artwork and Ronda look fantastic, with one onlooker commenting: “That ass is like – it should be insured.”
However, not everything went according to plan. Due to Ronda’s popularity – she was the number three most searched person on Google in 2015 – there was a problem with the first shoot when the paparazzi found the set and published pictures of Ronda in the suit.
This meant they had to do another complete shoot just a couple of weeks before the edition was due out.
The second swimsuit was even more detailed than the first and these were the pictures that eventually made it on to the cover.
