A furious father has offered an £82,000 reward for anyone willing to help him take on gangsters threatening his family.
In the Facebook video Paul Kernachan, 49, threatens his alleged tormentors, in between furious swearing, saying: “I’m telling youse, if anyone comes near my family I’ll do you in the middle of the floor.”
He goes on to say: “I’ve £82,000 for anybody who wants to take my side in this argument. It’s time youse learned a lesson and I’m here to be the fucking teacher.”
Mr Kernachan told the Daily Record that his partner Dana Fowley, who was the victim of sexual abuse as a child, fled their home with her three kids because of the threats.
He claims that he has CCTV footage of three men outside the house, carrying petrol bombs, on November 18th. Paul says the men set off his security lights and fled when Dana opened the curtains and saw them. Dana and the kids left the house that night.
Paul from Edinburgh, says the troubles started when gang members confronted his son Ryan, 19, five weeks ago. The thugs were allegedly looking for his brother Paul, 26, after a “fallout over a girl”.
Paul senior, who now wears a bulletproof vest in the street, says he tried to settle the dispute but a gangster known for using guns became involved and made death threats.
He claims the gang have threatened to “shoot me, kill me, blow the house up”. Paul says the £82,000 came from a house sale and denies it is “money to do someone over”.
He told the Record: “It’s money to stand by me… I’m not going to run from these people but if this continues someone’s going to get seriously hurt.”
The Police have said: “We received a report of concern from an address in Saughton Mains Place, Edinburgh, on November 18.”
