MMA fighter Tam Khan has gone viral after publishing a post in which he calls on fellow Muslims to help root out radical factions of Islamic society.

Khan, who according to the Daily Mirror has trained British boxer amir Khan, blasted fanatic members of organisations such as Daesh as ‘uneducated monkeys’ who are ‘giving us all a bad name’.

The 35-year-old describes himself as a proud Muslim who wants to see society ‘cleaned up’.

Having already taken aim at fanatics Khan writes:

I am fed up of going back to the UK to visit home & see these p****s protest against the government or army or Poppy’s or flags.

Are you having a a f*****g laugh? It’s England, if they want to fly a flag they bloody well should. If they want to celebrate their army and all they should it’s their country.

If you don’t like it, leave. I’d love to see these people talk crap in Muslim countries. They would be smashed in seconds. Locked up & tortured.

I think it’s time the British or west deport not only those who speak bad or against the country but the entire family also.

You come to a country to milk the benefit system, free education & health yet complain. Try that in Pakistan or the Gulf. See what will happen.

The rant has been shared over 125,000 times on social media as many praised the fighter’s stance.

He does make a very good point that change needs to come from within, but Westerners must also continue to work positively with Islamic society as the only way to promote peace is to actively encourage it.

If one side of the debate lies blame entirely on the other’s doorstep before washing their hands of finding a positive solution then progress is unlikely at best.
