A Very Good Boy was found hugging his owner when the man was left unable to move after falling from a tree and injuring his neck.

Jesus Hueche, 28, from Bahia Blanca, Argentina fell from a tree and was temporarily paralysed by the pain, but his loyal dog, Tony sat beside him and ‘hugged’ him as the man waited for the paramedics to arrive.

A neighbour had called an ambulance to the scene of the accident when they noticed Tony nuzzling into Jesus’s chest. The dog wrapped his body around his injured owner and comforted the man with a gentle pawing.

The neighbour, seeing the heart-warming moment between man and his best friend, took some photographs which have been shared to social media by the ambulance service.

Mr Hueche told Argentinian radio station La Brujula 24:

He goes everywhere with me and lies in my bed until my wife kicks him out. One day we saw him on the street and adopted him, gave him love, food and is part of our family. For me he’s like a son.

Jesus was taken to hospital in a neck brace and later discharged with minor injuries, and presumably, a heart overflowing with gratitude for his pup pal.

The images of Jesus and Tony have since gone viral – because friendships like this are worth sharing.
