This is obviously the best Hollywood news we’re going to get all year!
He ain’t afraid of no Ghostbusters reboot.
It’s almost seemed as though he’s been against the new Ghostbusters since word of it first knocked around. But it turns out he obviously isn’t against it, because more than just support it… He’s going to be appearing in it.
Paul Feig’s in charge of the movie, and has been ruffling a few feathers with his cast. More specifically, the fact that the four main characters are now all women. While it doesn’t bother me in the slightest, I won’t judge a film until I’ve seen it… I can’t pretend that I wasn’t disappointed to learn that Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd wouldn’t be appearing.
There’s very little known right now just how big a role he’ll have. In fact there’s very little information beyond ‘Bill’s in it’ whatsoever. It could be Dr. Peter Venkman, it could be a fleeting cameo.
The new Ghostbusters is due to be released in July 2016. I just got a little bit more excited.
