With so much chatter going on surrounding Usher and Alicia Keys’s halftime show performance, the singer’s husband seemed to address some of it.
Usher and Alicia Key’s Super Bowl performance certainly turned some heads resulting in the singer’s husband having to address one of the biggest talking points.
Usher delivered one of the greatest NFL Super Bowl performances ever, and I am happy to say that with my chest.
Performing a medley of some of his biggest hits like OMG, Yeah, Caught Up, You Don’t Have to Call, to name a few, Usher - forever the showman - added a fun and electric choreography to go along with some of his best R&B music.

But beyond the praise he has received, there were a couple of moments that left some people raising their eyebrows.
When Usher introduced one of his special guests, Alicia Keys, for the pair to perform the song My Boo, a rather intimate ballad, the pair were seen getting mighty close. Watch below:
The man has said it himself in his songs ‘don’t leave your girl around me', so fans' imaginations have certainly run wild after the performance.

Social media has erupted with comments indicating if they were Alicia Key’s partner they would not be pleased with just how intimate the performance was.
"Lmfaoo, Usher is INSANE for hugging Alicia keys like that. He’s a menace to society," one user wrote on X.
"I know Swizz hate when usher and Alicia keys perform my boo," another added.
"The way usher was grabbing Alicia keys," commented a third.

Key’s husband, producer Swizz Beatz, took to Instagram the following morning to silence the drama, however, praising both his wife and Usher for their unforgettable show.
“Y’all talking about the wrong damn thing !!! y’all don’t see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium,” Beatz wrote on his Instagram page.
“Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants ! Congrats @usher and my love @aliciakeys that song is a classic. We don’t do negative vibes on this side we make history,”
So, hey, if he is comfortable, no harm, no foul. The producer has been married to Keys for over a decade so he is likely more than aware that performances can get intimate as a part of the show.

But I might just side with Riley Freeman from the Boondocks on this one.
