Amber Heard Details Therapist Notes She Claims Proves Johnny Depp Abused Her

Amber Heard spoke of the notes in her new interview

Amber Heard has revealed a binder of therapist notes which she claims prove Johnny Depp abused her.

In an interview with Savannah Guthrie on NBC’s Dateline, the Aquaman star revealed the notes harking back to 2011 on-screen, with the presenter explaining how the written accounts contained many descriptions of violence the actor allegedly faced during that time.

The notes detail specific moments when Heard claims her ex-husband 'hit her, threw her against a wall and threatened to kill her.'

Heard told the presenter: “There's a binder worth of years of notes dating back to 2011 from the very beginning of my relationship that was taken by my doctor who I was reporting the abuse to.”

Meanwhile, Guthrie told the audience of the documents: “Her notes represented years, years of real-time explanations of what was going on.”

Heard now claims this collection of notes is new evidence for a possible re-trial, proving her allegations of physical and sexual abuse against Johnny.

However, the notes were previously dismissed by the judge at Fairfax County Courthouse for being ‘hearsay’, with the legal team barred from submitting them as evidence.

The interview follows previously released sneak-peek episodes which were broadcast on NBC’s TODAY show in the week when Heard accused Depp of physical abuse once again.

In that same interview, Heard reiterated claims that her former partner 'hit' her during her first sit-down interview since losing their high-profile defamation trial.

Speaking during the interview, which will be released in full later this week, Heard was asked by host Guthrie: “He [Depp] said he never hit you. Is that a lie?”

Heard then replied: “Yes it is.”

The Aquaman actor added: “To my dying day, I will stand by every word of my testimony.”

The star's full interview will air on the 14 and 15 of June on NBC's TODAY and Friday, 17 June on Dateline NBC 8.00pm/7.00pm CT.

Although Heard has shared statements about the trial online, this new sit-down interview marks the first time she has spoken in depth about the verdict.

Heard was ordered by the US court to award Depp $15 million in damages over domestic abuse claims she made in a 2018 op-ed for The Washington Post.

The charges were later capped at $10.35 million and in a separate verdict Heard was awarded $2 million in damages via a counterclaim.
