Britney Spears' Instagram Deleted Days After Wedding

The singer's account has disappeared just days after her big day

Britney Spears' Instagram account has been deleted just days after her wedding.

The singer had more than 40 million followers on the social media platform, where she regularly shared somewhat bizarre posts with her adoring fanbase.

However, it seems the newlywed has now decided to bin it off, as the page is no longer available.

Spears, 40, married long-term partner Sam Asghari at her Los Angeles home last Thursday, 9 June.

The intimate wedding ceremony between Spears and her 28-year-old fitness trainer partner Asghari saw numerous high-profile celebrities in attendance, including Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, Madonna and Donatella Versace.

The wedding day was somewhat blighted though by Spears' former husband Jason Alexander, who arrived unannounced at the property with the intention of 'crashing' the event.

Alexander, who is remanded in prison, was denied a request to reduce his $100,000 (£82,000) bail on Wednesday, 15 June, and has been charged with felony stalking and four misdemeanours.

As well as the felony charge, the 40-year-old faced two counts of misdemeanour battery, one count of misdemeanour vandalism and one count of misdemeanour trespassing following the incident. He pleaded not guilty on all counts at a hearing on Monday, 13 June.

A restraining order was also issued requiring him to stay at least 100 yards from the pop star for three years.

He remains in Ventura County jail ahead of two preliminary hearings next week.

Shortly before the incident, Alexander had posted an Instagram Live story from outside Spears' property in which he said he was there to 'crash' the wedding.

He was arrested by officers from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office and taken to jail.

Alexander was the singer's first husband, but the two were married for less than three days in 2004 before an annulment.

His next court appearances are scheduled for 22 June and 24 June.
