Eminem has proven even the most established stars get nervous, as he described the prospect of performing at the upcoming Super Bowl as 'f*cking nerve-wracking'.
The Lose Yourself rapper will be one of five performers to take the stage at halftime of Super Bowl LVI tomorrow, February 13, when the Los Angeles Rams will go head-to-head with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Em will be sharing the stage with a number of other big names, including Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige, in keeping with the star-studded history of the iconic slot.

The Super Bowl marks the NFL's biggest event of the season and is set to be viewed by millions of people in the US and beyond, so naturally any person would probably have butterflies about the idea of performing a song live in front of them.
Despite having been in the music business for years, Eminem explained exactly why he found the idea of the halftime show so 'f*cking nerve-wracking' during a rare interview with SiriusXM’s Sway Calloway this week.

As cited by Billboard, he said, 'To me, there’s nothing more final than live TV. You know what I’m saying? So if you f*ck up, your f*ck up is there forever.'
Exact details about this year's performance are being kept underwraps in a bid to raise the hype and excitement about what the artists will deliver, but it seems like fans' expectations can be high as Eminem went on to say that the plans for the show have exceeded his expectations.
He commented, 'When Dre first asked, when the whole thing started going down and we were like, ‘OK, this might be actually serious.’ I was trying to envision what Dre might do. I was thinking like, ‘Yeah, it’s dope that all of us are gonna rap together.’ [But] I didn’t expect it to be, like the production to be like this.'
Despite being nervous about his own performance, the rapper appears to have high hopes for Lamar, as he described the Humble singer as being 'at the very top, top tier of lyricists', adding, 'Not just of this generation, but of all time.'

The five performers taking to the stage on Sunday have together taken home a collective 44 Grammy Awards. Snoop has sadly never secured one, despite having been nominated 17 times, but over the years Eminem has scooped up 15; Kendrick has 13, Mary J. Bilge has nine awards from 31 nominations and Dr. Dre has seven.
