Logan Paul engaged to girlfriend after celebrating one year of dating

The controversial social media star popped the question to his girlfriend, Nina Agdal, in Lake Como.

Logan Paul has proposed to his model girlfriend, Nina Agdal, after one year of dating.

The controversial social media star popped the question while celebrating their one-year anniversary in Lake Como, Italy, as per Daily Mail.

According to the outlet, the two were enjoying a romantic getaway at the luxury Hotel Passalacqua after Paul competed at WWE’s Money in the Bank Premium Live Event in London over the weekend.

Paul knelt down on one knee on the open terrace of the hotel before the two kissed and embraced as the model accepted his proposal.

However, one insider reported that the proposal didn’t go down seamlessly as Paul planned, as the ring struggled to fit on the 31 year old's finger.

Nonetheless, the two were extremely excited, as one hotel guest told the outlet that the content creator turned wrestler even turned to his younger brother Jake and proclaimed: “‘Bro, you have a sister!'”

The happy couple have been dating for a year; however, they only went public with their relationship on New Year’s Eve, with a hard launch on Instagram.

According to First Sportz, the Danish model met Paul through mutual friends and have been going strong ever since.

Recently, while competing in WWE's Money in the Bank, Paul competed against the likes of Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, La Knight, Santos Escobar and Damian Priest.

However, during the showdown, the 'Maverick' got sent through not one but TWO tables after being launched by Ricochet from the ropes of the ring.

Paul appeared to botch the top rope landing as he failed to find his footing before crashing through the tables head first in a terrifying sequence.

And of course, social media was sent into a frenzy.

One Twitter user wrote: "People might not link Logan Paul but no one can question his commitment! This bloke is putting his life on the line every time he steps foot in the ring."

A second tweeted: "This spot was crazy. Logan botched the top rope landing, tried to find is footing. Ricochet was ready to go, and it looked bad for Logan."

While third added: "I give Logan Paul credit... That spot with Ricochet was scary."
