Machine Gun Kelly Designed Megan Fox’s Engagement Ring To Hurt, He Reveals
Machine Gun Kelly has revealed he designed Megan Fox’s engagement ring to hurt if she tries to take it off.
Kelly and Fox announced their engagement on Instagram last week, with the actor revealing that Kelly proposed under a banyan tree where they had ‘asked for magic’ two years prior, and that when she said ‘yes’ they ‘drank each other’s blood’.
Though undeniably bizarre the scene sounded fitting for the pair who have previously been known to baffle the public with their actions, and Kelly has confirmed the unusual elements of their relationship have not stopped now they’re engaged.

In an interview with Vogue, the rapper explained that he commissioned a designer to create the ring which consists of a ‘thoroughbred Colombian emerald, with no treatment.’
He continued: ‘It was just carved into the teardrop, straight out of the mine. And the diamond was directly from Stephen. The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet. So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart.’
The ring is a beautiful way of indicating a union between the two, though Kelly revealed he took steps to ensure it won’t be broken as he revealed that the bands on the rings ‘are actually thorns’, adding: ‘So if she tries to take it off, it hurts…’
7 days agoThere’s no doubt the interviewer was somewhat taken aback by this discovery, though they seemingly tried to keep things light as they responded: ‘That’s very nice..’
Justifying his decision, Kelly replied: ‘Love is pain!’
Fox didn’t chime in with her thoughts on the matter during this particular interview, but hopefully she’ll never need to remove her ring to feel the pain it could cause her!
