Machine Gun Kelly has been the subject of yet more controversy following debate over a resurfaced clip in which he calls a Black woman a 'b****.'
In the clip, which was shared by former Crystal Castles singer Alice Glass and dates back to 2012, MGK is seen being interviewed on the red carpet of the BET Awards, when he – seemingly unprompted – claims that 'Black girls give the best h***'.
The rapper continued to push his claim, including performing an imitation of a Black woman, before a woman off camera walks away, apparently offended at what he's saying.
'B****, walk the f*** away then, b****, ew,' he says in response as the interviewer laughs.

Posting the clip to Twitter, Glass wrote: "As a white man, would you ever talk like this? fetishizing black women and in such a disrespectful way!? show respect for Black Women who’s culture you are appropriating. apologize for this @machinegunkelly this was beyond disgusting.
"This isn't just about one artist. there is a bigger picture here. this is about how men who act like this are still given power and opportunities in an industry that willfully perpetuates sexist, racist and abusive behavior. it needs to change [sic]."
Unsurprisingly, the video has sparked backlash on Twitter, with fans calling on him to apologise for the comments.
"This was when he was invited to the BET awards. why would he get so aggressive towards black women in a majority black space?" one person wrote.

However, others have stepped in to defend Kelly, including the interviewer in the clip, who claimed that she hadn't been offended by his comments as he'd been responding to a question asked by another interviewer.
"This is me in the video. Girl give it a rest. I asked him a question and he answered," she tweeted in reply to Glass. "The end. I didn’t ask for you to put on a cape on my behalf. I’ll holler if I need you."
The interviewer also claimed that the woman Kelly called a 'b****' had 'deserved it' because she had been 'disruptive and disrespectful' while she was attempting to interview guests, however that explanation didn't wash with many, including one person who tweeted: "Regardless of the context did he HAVE to answer the way he did? He coulda just said 'nah that’s inappropriate'."

Kelly has not addressed the comments.
