Megan Fox has revealed she and Machine Gun Kelly tried numerous types of therapy after the rapper attempted to take his own life.
The Transformers actor opened up about Kelly's mental health struggles ahead of the release of his new Hulu documentary, Machine Gun Kelly's Life in Pink, which arrived on the streaming service this week.

In the film, Kelly describes experiencing 'wild paranoia' and sleeping with a shotgun next to his bed on a day when he 'snapped'.
The rapper recalled phoning Fox and telling her she wasn't 'here' for him before he faced the gun towards himself and went to cock it.
In the wake of the scary experience, Fox told Entertainment Tonight she and Kelly have 'done every form of therapy that exists'.

"We’ve found a therapist that really works for us, couples and individually, and it’s definitely a process, it’s not an easy one," she continued.
Fox went on to admit some of the work was 'really difficult', but added: "Our therapist said that a relationship is basically the process of breaking each other down, but most people don’t have the tools to build each other back up, to rebuild.
"And so, it’s a constant process of, like, suffering and passion and love and the repeat cycles. So, we're just learning that, and navigating that, doing that together. There’s lots of all of those things all of the time."
Kelly's suicide attempt took place in July 2020, shortly after his dad passed away. He recalled at the time refusing to leave his hotel room, saying: "I started getting really, really, really dark. Megan went to Bulgaria to shoot a movie and I started getting this really wild paranoia. Like, I kept getting paranoid that someone was gonna come and kill me."

On the night he called Fox, Kelly said he was in his room and 'freaking out' to his fiancée.
"Dude, I put the shotgun in my mouth. And I'm yelling on the phone and, like, the barrel's in my mouth. And I go to cock the shotgun and the bullet, as it comes back up, the shell just gets jammed. Megan's like dead silent," he said.
The experience prompted Kelly to put a stop to his substance abuse both for Fox and for his daughter, Casie.
The documentary does not explain whether Kelly was on drugs on the night of the incident, but he explained: "I was like, 'I need to kick the drugs for real this time."

Kelly and Fox got engaged in January after meeting on the set of the 2021 film Midnight in the Switchgrass.
