MrBeast says he put his girlfriend through ‘the test’ when he first met her

MrBeast held his girlfriend up against some pretty high standards when they first met

MrBeast held his girlfriend up against some pretty high standards when they first met, admitting he really 'put her through the wringer'.

Choosing a potential partner is risky business - what if they have strange hobbies? Or worse, none at all?

Well, the prolific YouTuber has a surefire way to get through that.

For those not familiar, the 23-year-old American star, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is one of the most followed people on YouTube - with a staggering 105 million subscribers.

He's had several huge projects in the past year, one of which included recreating the Netflix smash hit Squid Game on his channel.

Now you're up to speed, let's explain why the content creator is once again catching headlines.

As he explained on the Flagrant podcast, he said that when meeting new women he has 'to go through these tests because like, I don't, I don't really get along with women.'

So, what are the tests? Well, it includes having a hobby, what kind of content they consume, and if they like learning.

MrBeast explained his criteria.

Yep, sounds like a bad hinge date, but each to their own - eh?

He went on to say: "If I meet a girl that's like beautiful and we have these 10 traits like we're gonna be literally best friends, right?", before adding that his girlfriend 'check[s] every single one of them'.

"I had to put her through the wringer and start asking questions."

Still, it's not the most intense thing we've seen from the YouTuber because he also knows exactly what he's doing on his channel in the event of his death.

MrBeast explained that should he die, his billion-dollar channel would be up for grabs, and his friends just have to put all hands on deck - quite literally.

Joking about his death, the YouTuber said of his friends and collaborators: "Oh, yeah, they want me to die."

What do you think of this?

"They do, because the second I die, yeah, Carl, Chandler, Chris, the three guys, Nolan, maybe, he's a little newer we haven't decided if he partakes yet or not [...] they'll put their hand in my Tombstone [and the] last to take it off gets the channel. Everything. 100 percent, everything."

Not exactly what we'd imagined for a farewell video.

MrBeast went on to add: "That is happening, mark my words. I don't even know if I've really said it publicly. I tweeted it one time, but I'm serious I don't give a — how much you guys cry, right [his friends should] put their hands on the tombstone and give the channel to whoever wins okay? And don't bully them for it they're just doing what I want."
