Ex-NBA player Joe Smith outraged as he's filmed finding out his wife has an OnlyFans

The clip has gone viral

A video of former NBA player Joe Smith arguing with his wife over her OnlyFans account has gone viral.

The clip has so far been viewed more than 24 million times after being reposted on X - formerly Twitter - since it was shared on Sunday (30 October).

The video begins with Smith speaking while facing away from his wife, Kisha Chavis, saying he can’t believe she has an OnlyFans account.

Chavis is seen filming herself and his reaction as he paces around the room, complaining that her actions are disrespectful and she should have spoken to him about it.

She eventually interjects and cuts him off during his rant after he says the fact she had an account he didn’t know about was ‘f***** up’.

Picking up the camera and walking away, Chavis says: “Okay, I have an OnlyFans page and he is mad because he is just now finding out about it.”

Explaining to her husband, she continues: “But I'm not doing it with anybody but myself so why should I have to tell you? My choice, my body. My body, my f***ing choice.

“Joe I have been talking to you about mad things, I've been asking for a solution for s***, you not giving me one so I created one."

The former sports star replies: "That's no solution. Not in my book."

To which Chavis responds: "You knew who the f*** I was when you met me.”

The pair then go back and forth arguing as Chavis attempts to defend her actions and alluding to career as an adult star prior to their marriage.

Chavis also adds that she didn’t expect she would have to go back to similar work.

However, Smith continues to take issue with the fact he wasn’t told about her account but rather found out from someone else.

Chavis ends the video by saying: "I've been doing what I have to do. Period. That's the bottom line. That's what it is."

Some social media users questioned whether the argument was genuine, while others addressed the possible financial issues the couple could be going through.

“So, according to the video and herself, there’s a financial deficit at home. Their income is not enough and bills are being piled up. She came with a solution: OnlyFans,” one user commented.

“I feel like his problem is not the OF itself, his problem is that he wasn’t told about it before she opened it and started selling her content.”

The pair have been open about their financial situation in the past. During an appearance on CNBC’s Back in the Game in 2018, Smith said that despite earning $61 million from his time in the NBA, he only took home around $18 million.
