Charmed star Alyssa Milano has responded to backlash she's faced for asking people to donate to a GoFundMe.
The 51-year-old actor - who has an estimated net worth of $4 million as per Celebrity Net Worth - has come under fire for asking people to contribute to her son's baseball team's GoFundMe.
Earlier this week on 25 January, Milano took to her X - formerly known as Twitter - page to share a link to the GoFundMe page.

Her tweet reads: "My son’s baseball team is raising money for their Cooperstown trip. Any amount would be so greatly appreciated. You can read more about the team and make a donation here."
The GoFundMe is for the Birds 12U team - which Milano's son is a part of - and the team has a $10,000 target. At the time of writing, the fundraiser has received over $8,000 so far.
The page adds: "Your donation will go to travel costs, uniforms, and dues for families. We also might use your donations for pins or novelty items to make our tournaments memorable experiences beyond the field."
However, many social media users weren't happy with being asked to part ways with their cash by a celebrity and didn't hold back from taking to their keyboards to say so.
One user wrote: "Alyssa Milano the gift that keeps on giving......Has loads of $$$$ but starts a gofundme for her kids baseball team......"

"Alyssa Milano has absolutely lost her mind. How out-of-touch and tone deaf can one person possibly be?" Another added.
A third commented: "Alyssa Milano is worth millions, but she went on Twitter to beg people much poorer than her to pay for her son’s baseball team to attend a travel tournament in Cooperstown, NY. Next level tone deaf."
And the actor has since responded.
Taking to her X page yesterday (26 January), Milano wrote: "I’m getting media inquiries about whether I have financially contributed to my son’s baseball team.

"I’ve paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, thrown bday parties and sponsor any kid who can’t afford monthly dues.
"The kids also do fundraising themselves—car washes, movie nights, and many other fun things!
"Thank you to all who have contributed to the gofundme! You’ve made things easier for these boys and their families."
Responding to a comment on the thread, Milano added she 'would' fund the whole trip 'if [she] could'.
