Amanda Bynes is making her comeback following conservatorship and 'psychotic episode'

The former child star revealed she's developing a new podcast.

Amanda Bynes is making her return to Hollywood following her conservatorship and 'psychotic episode'.

The former Nickelodeon star revealed to TooFab that she's digging into the podcast world.

"I'm working on a podcast about the entertainment industry with my best friend Paul Sieminski who is a bio chemist and scientist. We met in treatment and have very similar interests," Bynes told the outlet.

"Our goal is to start a beauty brand in the future.

"Our podcast will be on Spotify and it's called Paul & Amanda: The Podcast."

Bynes proceeded to share a reel on her Instagram of the upcoming podcast, revealing how excited she is for the new project she’s developing.

"Having his beautiful mind being a part of this podcast is just going to bring it to another level I think, 'cause he's [Sieminski] going to ask great questions and I think he'll kind of carry most of the weight in terms of just like, topics of conversation,” she said.

Bynes added that at first, the two would interview their friends before hoping to become mainstream, which could involve inviting other artists and celebrities on the show.

Many seemed to be buzzing over the announcement, as one Instagram user wrote: “I’m so excited!”

Another said: “Great news!!! Can’t wait.”

While a third commented: “Im so excited for this!!!!! Always gonna support you, Amanda!!! Amanda PLEASE.”

The podcast marks the first media project the former child star has worked on after ending her conservatorship in 2022.

The She's The Man actor was placed under conservatorship in 2013 after struggling with mental health issues.

In March 2022, she requested her mother to be withdrawn as her conservator and a Californian judge ruled in Bynes’ favor.

However, a year later, Bynes was hospitalized after she was spotted walking downtown Los Angeles and waved down a car, explaining she was coming down from a psychotic episode.

The actor reportedly called 911 on herself and was placed under a 72-hour psychiatric hold before she entered a treatment facility.

Her parents allege they’re not considering placing their daughter under another conservatorship, as this was an ‘isolated’ incident.
