Fans of Ariana Grande have been left baffled by a perceived change in the singer's voice.
Grande took to the stage alongside Cynthia Erivo to announce the award for Best Original Song.
In the end, the award went to Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell for the song 'What Was I Made For?' for Barbie, making them the two youngest people to win two Academy awards.

But it was Grande's voice which got viewers talking, with many baffled by a perceived change in how the singer sounded.
Grande has previously been accused of altering the way her voice sounds, and her appearance at the Oscars certainly got fans talking.
The singer has previously come under fire for allegedly using a 'blaccent' during interviews with the press.
Meanwhile, last month at a promo, Grande was heard to have adopted a more transatlantic accent, reminiscent of old school Hollywood.

But at this appearance at the Academy Awards, people were perplexed by her voice, and took to social media to share their thoughts on it.
One wrote: "Someone needs to make Ariana Grande stop speaking in her Glinda voice. It's too soon for another Austin Butler situation."
A second posted: "Wtf happened to Ariana Grande??? I really thought everyone was exaggerating about her constantly changing personas. THE VOICE OMG THAT IS NOT ARIANA GRANDE."

Another went on: "Did Ariana Grande adapt a new voice?"
"Ariana Grande really got rid of her previous accent in favor of a 60s transatlantic accent," another wrote.
Meanwhile, Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell became the fourth and fifth people to win two Academy awards before turning 30, scooping an award for Barbie.
They also gave a moving rendition of the song 'What Was I Made For?' during the ceremony.
But it was Oppenheimer that proved to be the biggest winner of the evening, with the film receiving some seven awards at the ceremony, including Best Picture.

Director Christopher Nolan also took home the award for Best Director, while star Cillian Murphy won best actor, and Robert Downey Jr. won Best Supporting Actor.
In his acceptance speech, Cillian Murphy said: "We made a film about the man who created the atomic bomb, and for better or worse we're living in Oppenheimer's world, so I'd really to dedicate this to the peacemakers everywhere."
Emma Stone scooped a surprise win for Best Actress for her role in Poor Things, the second time she has taken home the award for Best Actress.
