A segment featuring Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger has been called 'one of the best in Oscars history'.
The pair took to the stage with a hilarious segment playing on the fact that they both played Batman villains.

Fans of Batman will know that Schwarzenegger portrayed Mr Freeze in Batman and Robin, while DeVito played The Penguin in Batman Returns.
The pair bonded on stage about the different ways in which they met their end, despite Batman's rule about not killing people.
That's certainly a pretty unique thing to share with someone, and the audience loved it.
One audience member in particular, however, became a part of the joke, for a very good reason.

This was of course Michael Keaton, who took on the role of the caped crusader in several movies.
The pair poked fun at Keaton, joking that he had some nerve showing up after their ignominious ends at the hands of Batman.
And it's safe to say that the segment was a hit with audiences both at the Dolby Theatre and watching at home.

People took to social media to share their thoughts on the segment and just how hilarious they had found it.
One person wrote: "That Batman segment with Arnie, Devito and Keaton was so funny."
Another tweeted: "Keaton Arnold Devito segment. Best segment so far. Genuine laugh."
A third posted: "This was actually hilarious. Not even acknowledging Twins and Keaton playing it straight was great."

One person even said: "These two should have hosted the Oscars!"
This is not the first time that the pair have performed together, as they co-starred in the comedy Twins in 1988, though surprisingly their skit glossed over this, instead focussing on their shared bat-heritage.
There have already been many big moments at this year's Oscars, ranging from the hilarious to the utterly cringe-worthy.

John Cena and Jimmy Kimmel went down a storm when Cena turned up to present the award for Best Costume Design seemingly completely naked.
Kimmel joked about an incident in which an actual streaker ran across the stage, only for a sheepish Cena to partially emerge from behind the set.
But the atmosphere was a little more awkward when Kimmel took a stab at Robert Downey Jr. in his opening speech.
Downey Jr. may have looked less than impressed during the speech, but things brightened up significantly when he won the award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Oppenheimer.
