Bobbi Althoff breaks silence after husband Cory files for divorce

The couple are heading to splitsville after just three years of marriage

Bobbi Althoff has confirmed she’s getting a divorce from her husband after just three years of marriage.

Bobbi Althoff has become well-known for her ‘The Really Good’ podcast, where she interviewed A-list stars such as Drake, Lil' Yachty, and Michael Cera.

The whole point of the celeb interviews is basically to make it as awkward as humanly possible for the guest, but many viewers have appeared to appreciate her uncomfortable, dead-pan style as her following continues to grow on social media.

Althoff's husband Cory, a senior vice president of a software development company, has now filed for divorce, submitting paperwork to the LA County Superior Court where he cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ for the marriage breakdown.

He dated the official day of separation all the way back to last summer, citing that they split on July 4, 2023.

The couple share two daughters together, Luca, 3 and Isla, 1. Cory is said to be seeking ‘joint physical and legal custody’ of both children in the divorce, and stated in the paperwork that he isn’t looking for any spousal support from the social media star.

Following the news of the filing, 26-year-old Althoff shocked fans by posting a black and white picture of her and her husband, Cory Althoff, to Instragram, along with the caption: “As most of you have heard, Cory and I have filed for divorce, as sad as I am right now, I am so thankful for the time I got to be his wife.”

“While our relationship didn’t work out as husband and wife, we’ll always be friends and I’ll always love him," Althoff continued.

The pair seem to be focusing on their future as co-parents and focusing on the children, as Althoff stated that she ‘is so lucky to be able to co-parent with such and incredible father and person.”

After news of the divorce broke, fans rushed to show Althoff support online, with the divorce announcement receiving over 258,000 ‘likes’. Her comments on YouTube were equally as comforting as they were pragmatic, as one viewer wrote: “That was actually one of the most beautiful divorce statements I’ve seen. I wish you and your girls the best. You are still a family, even if it’s structured just a little differently now.”

Althoff and Cory reportedly met on the dating app Bumble before having their first child in 2019 before walking down the aisle in January 2020.

Althoff's Instagram post comes six months after she was forced to deny having a romantic encounter with Drake after she deleted an interview she had conducted with him on her podcast, 'The Really Good Podcast'.

She shut down the rumour mill by a responding to DM from David Portnoy on Instagram, saying the claim was 'not true'.
