Fans concerned after Britney Spears posts video dancing around with huge knives

Fans are flooding to social media in concern after Britney Spears uploaded a video of herself dancing with what appears to be huge knives.

Fans are flooding to social media in concern after Britney Spears uploaded a video of her dancing with what appears to be huge knives.

The 'Toxic' singer has been free from her conservatorship for nearly two years and frequently posts videos of herself dancing to her social media.

While many people have celebrated Spears' feeling of freedom to express herself again through dance, a post uploaded earlier this week has sparked concern, as the 41-year-old performs a dance routine while appearing to hold large knives.

Warning: Do not try this at home - with the real thing at least.

The video shows Spears - who recently split with husband Sam Asghari - dressed in a bikini in her house holding what looks like two huge kitchen knives in her hands.

The 41-year-old performs a fast-paced dance routine to the camera, her three dogs - including new puppy Snow - pottering into frame, watching her as she twists and turns.

The caption reads: "I started playing in the kitchen with knives today!!! Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is soon!!!"

The post also contains another video of Spears dancing, however, this time, she's put down the fake knives.

Spears reassured followers the knives aren't real.

Despite Spears reassuring fans the knives are 'NOT real,' that hasn't stopped people flocking to X - formerly known as Twitter - in concern for the star - Spears having turned the comments off on her Instagram post.

One X user said: "Im sorry but she does not act like she is well."

"Instead of standing with Britney how about supporting getting some help for Britney," another added.

A third commented: "Cries for help aren't always verbalized. Sometimes behavior tells you a lot without saying anything at all."

People have spoken out in concern for Spears.

However, others stressed the knives 'aren't real' and defended the singer.

A user wrote: "It wasn't dangerous. Good grief. Leave the woman alone and get a hobby."

"So what, she has done this routine before, as have many dancers, they use knives lit on fire also... Leave Brittany Aloneeeeeahhhh," a second said.

A third added: "She's mimicking Shakira?! Skills."

And a final argued: "She actually looks like she is in control. You can’t handle knives like that unless you’ve been practicing people tripping over nothing again. she’s fine , A little different but she’s ok."
