Fans slam Brittany Mahomes’ ‘high horse’ attitude towards stadium employee

Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany was criticized after she supported her husband in Baltimore

Brittany Mahomes has been criticized by internet users as a 'diva' after a viral video showed her interaction with an employee at a football stadium.

Brittany, who is married to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was caught on camera after her husband's team beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday (January 28) to earn their place in the Super Bowl.

Brittany joined Mahomes after he left the field, and together they walked through the hallways of the M&T Bank Stadium with other players and supporters.

The pair kissed as they seemingly prepared to go their separate ways, but Brittany wasn't sure where she should go and turned to an employee off-camera for help.

The mom-of-two waved her finger around in the hope that the employee would point her in the right direction, and asked: "Where do we go from here?"

Brittany didn't curse or criticize the employee as she asked the question, but some viewers clearly think she could have been a bit more polite as they criticized her approach in a series of comments.

"Brittany Mahomes seems like such a diva," one viewer wrote after watching the video.

Another commented: "Mahomes [sic] wife needs to get up off her high horse."

"She seems annoyed that there aren’t people waiting to cater to her… That SHE is not being treated like a celeb," wrote a third.

But other viewers have stuck up for Brittany, arguing that her behavior wasn't worth criticizing.

"What did she do wrong?!" one person questioned. "All she did was ask where to go, twirling her finger as part of an expression of the question. why ppl [sic] telling her to get [off]."

Though Brittany angered some people with her behavior in the stadium, she sent a message to critics when she celebrated the Chiefs' win in a post on her Instagram Story.

Brittany shared a photo of herself and Mahomes on the football field and wrote: “We went there. We won. Anyone have anything else to say?”

Brittany also looked ahead to the Super Bowl final set to take place on February 11, writing: “See y’all in Vegas."

Brittany herself is a former football player, having played in college before she created her own company, Brittany Lynne Fitness.

She's since gone on to found the Kansas City Current; an expansion team in the National Women’s Soccer League in 2021.

UNILAD has attempted to contact representatives for the Mahomes family for comment.
