Elon Musk finally responds to Snoop Dogg's request for a free Tesla after two years

Elon Musk has issued a response two years after Snoop Dogg asked for a free Tesla.

Elon Musk has finally responded to Snoop Dogg's request for a free Tesla two years after the rapper made a public plea.

Neither Musk or Snoop are ever really far away from the headlines are they? Whether it's Snoop breaking the internet with a publicity stunt about 'giving up smoke' or Musk's Neuralink brain chip being implanted in its first human, there's always something going on with the two.

Back in April 2022, Snoop posted a video directly addressed to Musk when he asked for a Tesla.

"This is the message for Elon Musk, Nephew..I need a Tesla, When your people came to my show, they told me they gonna get me one, still waiting, Do I have to buy one? or You gonna send me one?" the rapper said in a video posted to his social media channels.

At this point - being two years on - Snoop has probably forgotten that he had even requested a Tesla from the founder himself.

Heck, a lot has happened in the 52-year-old's life in the past two years, most recently calling out the Grammys for never winning, despite having 16 nominations.

Whether he remembered or not, Snoop now has an answer as to whether he will be getting a Tesla for free.

And as you'd probably expect, Musk's response is pretty blunt.

"Everyone pays full price … including me,” said Musk in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Well, that's that then, isn't it?

To be honest, Snoop is already a Tesla owner after purchasing a white Model X SUV in 2017.

However, with the recent release of the Cybertruck, we're sure Snoop would love to get his hands on the latest whip.

While the new vehicle may seem pretty dope, there have been a lot of stories with owners experiencing bizarre problems.

The Tesla car was recently used by car manufacturing company Unplugged Performance as their truck of choice for the King of the Hammers off-road race in California.

Well, the Cybertruck suffered a broken steering bolt on its rear suspension - essentially preventing the steering wheel from staying straight.

But in brilliant quick thinking the driver decided to drive the vehicle in reverse for six miles in order to get to the finish line.

While that may seem pretty cool, the internet the way it is, of course, focused on the team having car trouble.

"Imagine what that’s like when you inspect a broken bolt, disassemble the suspension to access it, and everyone is taking photos with the wheel and suspension off," the team posted on X.

"Then, later, you go online and see people using those images to make up and reinforce whatever story best suits their interests."
