Francia Raisa addresses rumor that she was forced to donate her kidney to Selena Gomez

She wants this to end the speculation once and for all.

Francia Raisa has addressed a rumor about her kidney donation to Selena Gomez.

One of the singer's closest friends discovered she was a match and made the selfless decision to give over one of her organs back in 2017.

The world was blown away the now 35-year-old's brave move to help a friend in need.

However, it seems like the Hollywood rumor mill has been in overdrive in the years since the surgery.

Some whispers claim Francia was 'forced' into undergoing the operation, even though there hasn't been any concrete information backing that up.

Raisa has finally put the speculation to bed during an interview on Josh Peck's Good Guys podcast.

“I’ve said this before…I just felt it in my heart," she said, explaining that she never felt like she had to give over the kidney.

She added: "I knew I was a match. I knew it was gonna happen.

"No one forced me to do anything.

"It came out of the genuine kindness of my heart.”

She insisted there is absolutely no beef between the two of them and highlighted how intense fans can be around this topic.

There was some suspicions that the two had fallen out over something Selena said last year.

The former Disney actor said Taylor Swift was her 'only friend' in the entertainment industry and, considering Raisa is also an actor, she took that as a bit of a knife in the back.

“I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities," Gomez told Rolling Stone.

Gomez's comment was shared on Instagram by E! News alongside a picture of Gomez and Swift, after which screenshots began to emerge indicating Raisa had responded with a comment on the post.

Her comment appears to have since been deleted, but images shared online indicate she replied: "Interesting."

A quick search of Raisa's Instagram account also revealed that she unfollowed Gomez on the platform, though it was unclear exactly when she made the move.

However, during Francia's 35th birthday this year, Selena posted a heartfelt message about her friend that proved once and for all that they were all good.

She wrote: “Happiest of birthdays to this special human being. No matter where life takes us, I love you.

"No matter where life takes us, I love you."
