Lil Wayne responds to his controversial waxwork figure after it was mercilessly mocked

Safe to say he's not impressed.

Lil Wayne isn't very impressed after seeing a museum's attempt at a wax replica of him.

The Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, recently commissioned a waxwork of the legendary hip hop star.

It's been on display since last year, however images of the figure have landed on social media and it's safe to say that people aren't vibing with it.

The waxwork should get a bit of credit for capturing the rapper's body art.

While the model should be praised for the attempt to capture much of Lil Wayne’s body art, the face and stature of the rapper appear to be off.

However, some people think a bit more time should have been spent on Lil Wayne’s the face and his stature as they appear to be a little off.

One person wrote on Twitter/X: “That don’t even look like him. That’s an old model of someone else. They just threw tattoos on it and a Tyler Perry wig & called it a day."

Another added: “Bruh look like a New Orleans Chucky doll all inked up in that wax work."

A third also mocked: “Why does that look like if Tory Lanez did a horrible Lil Wayne costume for Halloween."

A fourth commented: “Cause why they got WEEZY looking like a lolipop that’s been licked, dropped and kicked across a shag carpet!”

Many users shared confused images of the rapper suggesting this is how he would react to the model.

Well, now we don't need to wonder anymore what Weezy thinks because he has finally seen it.

He wrote on Twitter/X: "Sorry wax museum but dat shit ain’t me!

"You tried tho and I appreciate the effort."

Look, at least he tried to praise the artist for doing their best at recreating his likeness.

But that's not the only museum who has been recently called out for failing slightly in making a waxwork of a celebrity.

The Grevin Museum in Paris copped some criticism after fans said Dwayne Johnson's figure also looked a little off.

“For the record, I’m going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grevin Museum in Paris France so we can work at ‘updating’ my wax figure here with some important details and improvements — starting with my skin color," he said on social media.

The museum has responded and told Deadline: “Dwayne Johnson is right and we noticed it and will obviously remedy it as quickly as possible and send him new photos once completed.

"We are waiting for him when he will come to Paris and the Grevin Wax Museum to celebrate that with a cup of champagne.”
