Lizzo stuns fans with physique as she says she’s 'putting herself first’

The Good as Hell singer was flooded with comments after her New Year post

'Good as Hell' singer Lizzo impressed fans as she showed off her physique in workout gear that makes it 'look like she went to the gym'.

Whether she actually did go to the gym is beside the point, as Lizzo praised the 'technology' of her clothes for 'snatching and lifting'.

The singer took to Instagram to show off her figure this week, as she declared she was taking part in the 'new year, new me' trend.

Lizzo has kicked off the 2024 with the launch of a new line for her clothing brand, Yitty, which is described as 'Shapewear reinvented'.

In her video, Lizzo advertised new 'ultra-lift' leggings and bras in a range of colors, admitting that while it was 'hard' to get into the outfits, it was worth it as it lifted her 'booty to the sky'.

"Baby boo. It looks like we went to the gym, but we didn't go to the gym," she told followers.

Lizzo told fans they're already the 'best version of themselves'.

"We're putting ourselves first this year you guys. You don't have to wait to feel like the best version of yourself."

"New year new me, in my Yitty," Lizzo added.

Though the singer indicated she hadn't made any changes other than the new outfit to become the 'best version of herself', fans flooded her video with comments over how well she looked.

"You are such a beautiful human," one viewer wrote, while another added: "You look great."

"You look amazing Lizzo," wrote a third.

A number of viewers speculated Lizzo had lost weight prior to posting the video, though others were quick to point out that her weight shouldn't be the focus of the post.

Lizzo is an advocate of body positivity.

"Everyone that is saying the weight loss is beautiful is what gets me," one person began. "@lizzobeeating you were beautiful before just as you are beautiful now, weightloss is great, but it's not what makes or breaks your beauty!!!"

Lizzo has long advocated for body positivity, and in 2019 she wrote for NBC News: "I don't think that loving yourself is a choice. I think that it's a decision that has to be made for survival; it was in my case.

"Loving myself was the result of answering two things: Do you want to live? 'Cause this is who you're gonna be for the rest of your life. Or are you gonna just have a life of emptiness, self-hatred and self-loathing? And I chose to live, so I had to accept myself."
