Mia Khalifa gets fired from job after posting about Hamas vs Israel conflict

The CEO of the company called her comments 'disgusting' and called on her to 'become a better human being'.

Mia Khalifa has been fired from a job after she posted messages about the Israel vs Hamas conflict.

The former adult film star took to X, formally known as Twitter, following Hamas' deadly attack on Israel over the weekend.

Militants launched a coordinated assault on their enemy and killed hundreds of people.

Many have been taken as hostages and Israel has since ignited retaliatory airstrikes on Gaza, which has caused hundreds more casualties.

Khalifa sparked backlash for her assessment of the carnage and threw her support behind Palestine.

"Can someone please tell the freedom fighters in Palestine to flip their phones and film horizontal," she said in one post.

She added in another: "I can’t believe the Zionist apartheid regime is being brought down by guerrilla fighters in fake Gucci shirts - the biopics of these moments better reflect that."

Well, the messages have caught the attention of Red Light Holland.

The company is involved in the production, growth, and sale of functional mushrooms and mushroom home grow kits in North America and Europe.

Earlier this year, they recruited Khalifa as an 'advisor', where she was tasked with providing 'strategic social purpose and community engagement initiatives' as well as social media marketing to help grow the company's online presence.

Red Light Holland CEO Todd Shapiro has been horrified at her posts on the Israel vs Hamas.

Speaking in response to the 'tell freedom fighters' post, Shapiro said: "This is such a horrendous tweet @miakhalifa.

"Consider yourself fired effective immediately.

"Simply disgusting. Beyond disgusting. Please evolve and become a better human being.

"The fact you are condoning death, rape, beatings and hostage taking is truly gross. No words can explain your ignorance.

"We need humans to come together, especially in the face of tragedy. I pray for you to become a better person. However, it clearly seems like it’s too late for you."

Khalifa has responded to her firing and said on X: "I’d say supporting Palestine has lost me business opportunities, but I’m more angry at myself for not checking whether or not I was entering into business with Zionists. My bad."

In a separate post she said: "That’s the most press you’ll ever get out of me for your s****y little company you quite literally couldn’t pay me to post about it publicly before because I thought it was so bad. It’s FREE PALESTINE until Palestine is FREE."
