The fallout from Miranda Lambert’s concert where she chastised her own fans for taking a selfie during the show has spilled over onto TikTok, where fans have vowed to boycott.
The country music singer, 39, has been criticised online, while also receiving support from some, after she was filmed scolding a group of women in attendance at her Las Vegas show for taking a selfie mid-concert.
In the viral clip, the ‘Mama’s Broken Heart’ singer was just about to jump into a rendition of her hit tune 'Tin Man' when, just a few seconds into the song, Lambert pauses and tells her team to cut the music.

Addressing the individuals in the crowd on Saturday (15 July), she says: "I’m gonna stop right here for a second, I’m sorry.
"These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song.
"It’s p**sing me off a little bit.”
The incident has taken social media by storm and it was even a topic debated on The View. Over on TikTok, one person reportedly filmed herself ripping up tickets she claimed were for one of Lambert’s shows.

Other social media users have debated the ordeal and tried to get to the bottom of who was at fault. One video, which has racked up more than 1.3 million views on TikTok, called the singer’s actions ‘tacky’.
TikTok user @brett_44 said she felt ‘sad’ for the women who were publicly called out because lots of people ‘already have social anxiety’ at public events and she thinks it probably would have made them feel bad in front of the crowd.
"I can't imagine how embarrassed they had to be," she said, adding that she used to idolise the singer. "I mean, she literally stopped an entire show and just, like, basically called them out and embarrassed them in front of everybody."
Meanwhile, another post shared by @ace.high.ash, who claimed she previously attended a Lambert concert, explained that it’s common for concertgoers to take lots of snaps when they have great seats. She said: "Imagine what those girls feel like that they actually got to see you, and you got to see them, but instead of thanking them, or saying something sweet about how much they spent to come see you, you say that.”
One person who came out in support for Lambert said she also went to Lambert’s Las Vegas residency at Bakkt Theater in Planet Hollywood and knew exactly where the fans were sitting.

She said the women chose the wrong time to take their pictures, which was done with the flash on. "This was the opportunity that those ladies decided they were going to do their selfie," TikToker @jamiek721 said. "The house lights are down, and to have a big flash come in in the middle of her singing 'Tin Man' is tacky AF. I might get some slack on this, but whatever."
