The Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel caused a scene at an airport this week when her vagina set off its security scanners.
No matter how much care you take at the airport, sometimes those pesky scanners can just catch you out for no apparent reason.
They claim to have spotted something unusual in your head, your armpit or around your ankle, forcing security to pull you aside and pat you down, usually only to discover a bit of metal on a hair band or a safety pin in your clothes that you'd forgotten about.

Frankel experienced this unfortunate scenario while preparing for a vacation in Aspen with her daughter this week, only instead of her head or her armpit, the security scanner lit up right over her vagina.
A picture of the scan makes clear that there was no doubt about where Frankel would have to be searched, with a red box appearing right between her legs.
Her daughter was cracking up laughing at this situation, but the reality TV star looked less amused as she stood with her legs spread, while the member of security made sure there weren't any threats to be worried about.

Frankel recalled the events in a video shared on Instagram, explaining she had been TSA approved and was assured the boots she was wearing wouldn't set off the scanner unless there was metal in them.
She explained: "So I go through, and I beep. I take off the boots, I come back through. Is it the jewellery? No, I go back, I come back through, they said 'you're still beeping'. I had nothing on.
"All of a sudden, you see the screen and it just shows a red square over my vagina."
After being questioned by the security staff, Frankel assured them she didn't 'have anything there', insisting she had no idea what was setting off the scanner.

"The whole line is laughing, we're not sure [what it is]," Frankel continued.
Her daughter, Bryn, asked if she'd 'put anything in there', but the mom made clear she did not 'have anything metal in [her] wazoo'.
"Something is buzzing in there, maybe it's excited to go away on a vacation," she added.
The Real Housewives star may never find out exactly what was setting off the scanner, but her fans have found the whole situation hilarious.
