Taylor Swift praised for response as she’s booed by fans while arriving at Chiefs playoff game

Taylor Swift was booed by fans as she entered the stadium to watch Travis Kelce play.

Taylor Swift has been praised for her response as she was booed by fans while arriving to watch Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday (January 21).

You can take a look at how she reacted below:

The singer was in attendance over the weekend to see her partner, Travis Kelce, play in the Chiefs playoff game - which they won 27-24.

Ahead of the big match, Swift was seen entering the Buffalo Bills' stadium wearing a red beanie amid all the cold weather in that part in the world.

But instead of being met with cheers like she is at one of her Eras Tour gigs, boos rang out from the crowd for the 'Shake It Off' singer.

Footage captured by CBS sports reporter Heather Prusak saw Swift walking past fans, as many other spectators booed her.

"The vitriolic shower of boos when Taylor Swift was shown on the screen for the first time… truly filled my heart," one X user penned.

"It’s so ridiculous. Taylor Swift has absolutely nothing to do with the actual game so there’s no reason for her to be shown. I wish they’d show how the crowd boos her now," another wrote as Swift was shown on-screen during the game.

However, Swifties have since praised the 34-year-old for her response as she entered the stadium to support Kelce.

On the pitch, the NFL star made a touching nod to his other half as he flashed Swift's signature heart sign to the crowd after catching a wide open pass to give his team the lead in the second quarter.

Kelce then followed that up by blowing a kiss in the apparent direction of Swift, who was in the VIP suite at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.

Swift was evidentially delighted with the touchdown as she celebrated alongside Kelce's family, including his brother, Jason, and sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce.

Cameras also caught the 'Shake It Off' singer hugging friends in the box after her man scored his first touchdown in eight games.

Swift was also joined by pals Brittany Mahomes and Cara Delevingne for the big game.

The pop star has been attending Chiefs games since the beginning of the season, when the rumors surrounding a romance with Kelce began to circulate.

Many questions have remained unanswered on Kelce and Swift's romance - though the former did provide some answers last year.

It turns out that Kelce's way in to Swift's inner circle came when Swift performed at Kelce's home stadium at Arrowhead in Kansas City.

And the rest, as they say, is history.
