Beyoncé’s mother Tina rips into critics who suggest the singer is bleaching her skin white

Don't mess with this Mama Bear.

Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, has clapped back at critics who accused her daughter of lightening her skin.

Don’t mess with Mama Bear, as the 69-year-old has come out swinging against those who criticized Beyonce’s appearance at the Renaissance tour movie premiere.

The singer, who wore a chrome silver dress on the red carpet along with white hair, had many social media users noting her skin looked too ‘white’.

However, Tina posted a lengthy post to her Instagram, calling out people’s 'ignorance and racism'.

“Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white,” Tina began.

The mother added the legendary singer wore a platinum blonde wig to the premiere as the film’s theme is ‘silver’.

“She does a film, called the Renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she's trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin? .. How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy,” she continued.

The mother noted how one white woman had reached out to Beyonce’s hairstylist for a statement regarding Beyonce’s appearance, which Tina admitted ‘boiled her blood’.

“Well that made, my blood boil, that this white woman felt so entitled to discuss her blackness,” she said.

“Every time she does something that she works her ass off for and is a statement of her work ethic , talent and resilience. Here you sad little haters come out the woodwork. Jealousy and racism , sexism , double standards , you perpetuate those things . Instead of celebrating a sister or just ignoring if you don't like her,” Tina continued.

The mother concluded that her daughter does everything to empower black culture and ‘underdogs’.

While the queen herself has yet to respond, Tina received much support following the candid statement.

One Instagram user wrote: “Literally posted about this the other day on X! It’s absolutely disgusting!”

Another said: “Let them know.”

While a third commented: “Ms. Tina, your eloquent defense of your own deserves all of the applause. We love you and we love Bey!”
