Will Ferrell randomly shows up to his son's frat party and starts DJing

Frank the Tank is back!

Frank the Tank is back, baby!

Well, that's at least what it appears to look like after Will Ferrell was seen DJing at an American frat party.

The Anchorman actor got behind the decks at a party at the University of Southern California's Sigma Alpha Mu house.

Ferrell had a backwards cap, some shades and a USC Trojans jacket on as he was spinning some sick beats.

Everyone around him looked like they couldn't believe a world-famous celebrity was casually DJing at their shindig.

TMZ suggested that this was filmed at a pre-game party before USC took on the Arizona Wildcats in college football.

USC managed to narrowly defeat the Wildcats 43-41. And people were absolutely blown away by Ferrell's cameo at the pre-game party.

One said: "These guys are not hyped enough and definitely don’t deserve to be in the presence of Will Ferrell."

Another added: "DJ Will on the ones and twos bay bay!"

A third wrote: "This is random and I love it. Especially the song choice lol."

The song choice is important as the clip that has gone viral on TikTok shows him playing 'N****s in Paris' by Kanye West and Jay-Z.

For the uninitiated, Ferrell is actually on that song as the two rappers sampled a section of his movie Blades of Glory when he says 'no one knows what it means but it's provocative...gets the people going'.

And loads of viewers also questioned whether it was Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith instead of Ferrell as the two look incredibly similar.

But everyone is wondering why the hell is Ferrell DJing to a bunch of college kids.

While we don't have the answer to that, some outlets are suggesting it's because of his family.

Will's eldest son, Magnus, attends USC at the moment and it could be because of that that the actor decided to get on the decks.

While many people would be horrified at their dad leading a college party, this example might be an exception to the rule.

Back in 2017, Ferrell gave a commencement speech at the University of Southern California.

He received an honorary doctorate in humane letters and told the Class of '17 to chase their dreams.

"Many a night where, in my L.A. apartment, I would sit down to a meal of spaghetti topped with mustard with only $20 in my checking account," he said.

"I was afraid. You're never not afraid. I'm still afraid.

"But my fear of failure never approached the magnitude of a fear of 'What if? What if I never tried at all?'"
