Tupac Shakur's former bodyguard Mob James says he is 'sure' about who killed the rapper in 1996.
The rumours and speculation surrounding Tupac's death are countless, with conspiracies about who killed the rapper, or indeed if he was ever really killed, continuing more than two decades after his death.
What we do know is that Shakur was shot multiple times in Las Vegas in September 1996 after establishing himself as a pillar in the world of rap music.
According to CNN, the incident took place after Tupac left a boxing match with former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight; two people who received protection at the time from bodyguard Mob James.

Tupac and his guards are said to have got into an altercation with Crips gang member Orlando Anderson, who was 21 years old at the time, in the lobby of the MGM Grand casino before Knight and Tupac left in a car.
A short while later, a white Cadillac pulled up beside their vehicle as they were stopped at a traffic light, at which point one man began shooting out of the back window. Officer Chris Carroll, who was the first to respond to the scene, said Tupac's body fell out of the car when he opened the door, as if the rapper had been 'leaning against' it.
Years later, James reflected on Tupac's death during an interview with VladTV, in which interviewer DJ Vlad recalled reading an article in which those in the know had named Anderson as Tupac's shooter.
Vlad noted that 'we're not sure if it was' Anderson, but James made clear he felt otherwise as he quickly responded to say 'we're sure'.

James said: 'Only one person had the nerve to shoot, and that was the hitter, that's the one that was with the business, that's the one that didn't give a f**k... he was the 'I've got to get him' guy.'
Anderson was named as a suspect in Tupac's death in the initial police investigation, though Las Vegas police later concluded there was no direct evidence linking him to the rapper's death, the LA Times reports.

The year after Tupac's death, his mother filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against Anderson, in which she claimed he was responsible for killing her son.
Anderson died in 1998, two years after Tupac, in a gang shootout that claimed the life of another person who was also believed to be a member of the Southside Crips.
