People say there's a glitch in the matrix after seeing group of birds freeze instantly

People have long wondered if we're in a matrix or not, and this video could argue that we are.

Ok ok, The Matrix is a fictional movie, but this video is still pretty odd.

The clip in question has been doing the rounds on Reddit as an example of a so-called 'glitch in the matrix' - but some people have their theories about what's going on.

The video shows a group of birds about to be fed when all of a sudden all of them stop dead.

"Why are they not moving?" the woman filming the clip asks. "What is happening right now?"

All the birds stop in their tracks - apart from one little fella who prioritizes having a bite to eat rather than sticking with the status quo.

The clip has been shared online and, while it does indeed seem like a 'glitch in the matrix', there could be a slightly more likely explanation.

But first, many pointed out the one bird that was still scoffing in the video while the rest stood still.

"Little guy at the end said “eff it, I’m eating anyway”," one person laughed.

"There's always one. F**king guy," said another.

Elsewhere, others shared the theory that the birds may have heard a predator so all happened to freeze at the same moment.

One suggested: "They probably seen or heard a predator. Some animals freeze like that when there's a predator nearby so not to be seen."

Another added: "She probably made a sound that told them a predator was around."

"Leaf blower in the background is of a frequency that the birds think it’s some sort of predator," a third went on.

Another 'glitch the matrix' that has been doing the rounds on Reddit is a video of plane appearing to stop mid-air.

The video was taken from the perspective of a passenger on another airborne flight and shows the other aircraft seemingly hovering in the same spot.

The clip understandably baffled people on social media as it had no clear explanation.

Dozens suggested it was to do with the matrix, while another person said it was likely to be a result of 'strong headwind and a low indicated air speed coupled with a trick of perspective'.

I'm sure Neo would argue otherwise...
