Millionaire's wife slammed for claiming women shouldn't date 'broke' men

Luxury influencer Sofia Kralow has been heavily criticised after posting her dating advice on TikTok.

We all like the finer things in life, but maybe not as much as influencer Sofia Kralow.

Boasting about her life as the wife of a millionaire on social media, the luxury influencer (yes, that’s a thing) recently told women that they should ‘never date broke men’.

Understandably though, her pearls of wisdom have not been well received. Take a look:

If you are unfamiliar with the wealthy woman, Sofia Kralow is an influencer known for sharing her lavish lifestyle on TikTok.

Looking through her profile, there are endless images of private planes, designer goods and stacks of money as her and her husband live the high life in Dubai.

In one of her latest videos though, she urged other women to be like her and ‘raise their standards’ when it comes to the dating scene.

Sharing even more images of her excessive wealth, she writes: “Your daily reminder to never date broke men."

In the video, she shares images of a private helicopter pad, a beautiful black sports car with a bow on it and a wadge of euros big enough to fund a small county.

Whilst we aren’t opposed to women getting the ‘princess treatment’, the video heavily implies that women shouldn’t date anyone with less than six figures in their bank account.

Understandably, this hasn’t gone down too well on TikTok.

The viral video has been seen by over 1.3 million people on the app, with many venting their frustration over the sentiment in the comments.

One user pointedly wrote: ‘"So we’re going back 100 years to being dependent on a man’s salary again? Great message."

Another was equally infuriated, writing: "Like it's so easy to do that.”

And a third commented: "If I love him I don’t care if he’s rich or broke."

Meanwhile, others argued that it was better to not be dependent on your partner’s finances.

"I thank myself for all I got. No need to have a man take care of me,” a fourth brutally commented.

In response to the backlash, Kralow uploaded another video discussing the idea of dependency on a partner.

She told her followers: “Can someone tell me the connection between never dating a broke man and being dependent on a rich man or any man?

"Because if you are dating a rich man, you can be rich by yourself also!"

Whilst we can’t argue with that, we rather think she’s missed the point as money can’t buy you love.
