The North Face praised for its 'epic' response to woman tearing into its raincoats

The clothing brand came up with its incredible response after TikToker Jenn made clear she was not happy

Christmas has come early for one TikToker after The North Face came up with an epic response to her complaints over their coats.

Most companies want to come across as cool and likeable online, but every now and again one brand will just knock it out of the park for their followers.

Cup brand Stanley is a recent example, having bought a customer a new car after her's burned down around her completely intact cup, and now it's The North Face's turn to take the spotlight.

It all started with TikToker Jenn Jensen, who shared a video of herself walking through the mountains in New Zealand in the pouring rain.

"I've got a bone to pick with North Face," Jensen said. "I bought this 'rain jacket' a couple of days ago, because the tag in the advertising said that it's waterproof.

"Well listen... I'm soaking wet."

Jensen went on to explain that she didn't want a refund. Instead, she wanted North Face to 'redesign this raincoat to make it waterproof' and 'express deliver' it to her location on the mountain.

Jenn was clearly soaking wet on the mountain.

Obviously, that would never happen. Right?

Wrong.

Though North Face hasn't swiftly redesigned its raincoat at Jensen's request, it did kind of oblige to her second request in an epic TikTok video involving a new raincoat, a North Face employee, and a helicopter.

In the clip, a worker could be seen grabbing a brand-new, red North Face jacket off the rack in the store, before swiftly making their way to a helicopter.

Once inside, worker and coat flew over the New Zealand landscape to the mountaintop where Jensen was waiting in her original black coat.

After the helicopter landed, the worker hopped out, sprinted over to Jensen and threw the new coat to her before running away again.

The video then cut to Jensen, looking like a very satisfied customer as she grinned inside the hood of her new red coat.

The brand has been highly praised by viewers after it shared its response to Jensen's video, with one viewer commenting: "Well done Marketing Team... perfect response."

Another fan wrote: "They saw an opportunity and absolutely smashed it."

In a follow-up video, Jensen explained The North Face had flown her up to the top of the mountain to film the response video.

"It was an absolutely crazy and unexpected adventure," she said.

Jensen hasn't yet revealed whether the new raincoat will hold up against adverse weather, but she assured The North Face she would 'give the new jacket a shot on [her] next rainy day hike'.

Fingers crossed it's better than the first one!
