Family have revealed the final messages of a British man found dead in Thailand and they raise some troubling questions.
Andrew Apperley, 38, from Eastbourne, was reported missing after failing to return to his hotel four days after going to a Full Moon party in Ko Phangan, reported the BBC.
A body has since been found and Andrew’s brother, Richard Apperley has confirmed that tragically it was Andrew:
Hours later Richard posted these chilling messages from his brother on Facebook and requested that they be shared:
The messages read:
The boat ride was almost as scary as the before
Ffs there is no long boats at all so I can’t get to Mandy lady
Omg had a mad night all the guys wanting kill
Scary guy with the face mask
What the fuck
References to ‘Mandy’ and ‘Mushrooms’ that could be innocent or may be referring to drug use but the ‘Scary guy with the face mask’ and ‘guys wanting kill… Me’ certainly raise questions now that Andrew has been found dead.
Questions that Richard is hoping can be answered by getting the post seen by as many people as possible.
The Mirror also has received other messages reportedly from Andrew on the night he died.
In the messages Andrew claims that he’s been spiked:
I made a joke about feet and inches
And she called me ignorant British
[Crying Laughing Emojis]
I spend more time in Poland than her
I’m tripping out
Think I’ve been spiked
Hopefully these messages can help police piece together what happened before Andrew was found dead and his family will know what happened to him.
