One of the survivors of the Las Vegas shooting has been killed in a hit-and-run in southern Nevada.

Rory McClellan was killed on November 17 while hitch-hiking just outside Las Vegas on State Route 160 in Pahrump, Nevada.

McClellan, who was 52-years-old, was one of the survivors of the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival, on October 1, where 58 people were killed by Stephen Paddock.

His wife, Denise McClellan, spoke to local media to say she doesn’t understand why Rory was subjected to both incidents.

She told KSNV:

I don’t understand why he wasn’t taken at the shooting, but a month later he was taken this way?

I hope my husband found peace and he’s safe now.

Understandably angry, Denise also said she’s consumed with anger at the thought of her husband’s lifeless body being left on the side of the road.

She continued:

I’m angry. I feel that he was under the influence of something or drunk and didn’t want to get caught, so he bailed and left my husband laying there in the street.

He doesn’t deserve that.

Denise revealed how the events of October 1 had been ‘really messing’ with Rory’s head.

Things had become so difficult, he had started going to therapy.

According to a post on Facebook, Denise recalled how prior to Rory’s death, he’d ‘stormed off’ after being involved in a fight with his friend.

Police are believed to have located the car involved with the death and charges are pending.

If anyone has seen Roy please let me know. He was in Pahrump on Friday with a friend and they had a little fight and he…

Nearly two months on from the tragic events in Las Vegas, the FBI are still investigating the motive of Stephen Paddock who was responsible for the deadliest shooting in modern US history.

Paddock had no links to a terror group, history of mental illness or even a criminal record.

Authorities are trying to piece together the mass shooter’s final moments, in an attempt to seek out any possible explanation for why a person could commit such unthinkable horror.

The FBI are now claiming a laptop – found in Paddock’s Mandalay Bay hotel room – had a hard drive missing, which could hold vital clues to his state of mind and motive for killing so many American civilians, reports the Mirror.

It’s believed the hard drive was removed from the device after the shooting and has yet to be found.

Given the lack of clues anywhere else in Paddock’s life, it has now become the focus of the investigation.
