Every year Halloween outfits get stranger and stranger but this ‘sexy Pennywise’ outfit is just messed up.
Since It is one of the biggest films this year, it was bound to happen but I am just not sure whether dressing up as a supernatural serial child killer could be considered ‘sexy’?
However, clothing retailer Yandy clearly does adding a ‘Dancing Sewer Clown’ outfit to their range.

Of course, due to copyright infringement, the company could not use the actual name ‘Pennywise’ in their marketing, but there is no doubt this costume is based on the horrifying killer clown from the film adaptation of Stephen King’s It.
Based on the popular novel, It follows a group of outcast children who are terrorised by the haunting clown.
And with promises the second chapter will be darker than the first, we can’t wait to see what horrors the movie brings as the Itwas just terrifying.
Overtaking The Exorcist becoming the highest grossing horror film of all time, it seems natural to dress up as It‘s Pennywise as the chilling clown is perfect for Halloween.
And if you want to do ‘sexy Pennywise’ for your outfit this year, then Yandy’s costume is perfect although it does only come with the dress and neck ruffle.
That means you will still have to buy your own gloves, wig, balloon, tights and make-up making the $99.95 price tag just not seem worth it.
So, if you are on a budget but still fancy going as Pennywise, either sexy or scary, then you could always go down the DIY avenue.
There are many Instagram users doing it and that means plenty more copycats so if you are scared of clowns, you may wish to sit out Halloween this year as its going to be filled with creepy smiling faces.
Model Laura Lux was one of the first ones to dress up as sexy Pennywise and she completely nailed the look!
She told UNILAD about the inspiration behind the look:
My make-up artist, Dre Ronayne, and I were talking about collaborating on something cool and decided to do Pennywise because the movie had just come out.
I saw It and I thought it was great! More funny than scary but super entertaining and a good homage to the original movie and book.
The make-up was all Dre’s handiwork, she is incredible!
The outfit was a white swimsuit with pom-poms glued to the front and we got the collar from a party store.
Although Laura won’t be going as Pennywise for Halloween this year, instead she tells us she is going to be ‘the pink power ranger as part of a group costume one night and sexy Jason Voorhees another night’, her awesome look is sure to inspire hundreds of outfits.
All I need to do now is find a swimsuit, pom-poms and some creepy looking make-up.
However messed up it may be, sexy Pennywise is the costume of choice this year!
