9-1-1: Lone Star And Fear The Walking Dead Actor Tyler Sanders Dies Aged 18

Tyler Sanders, best known for his role in 9-1-1: Lone Star, has died at the age of 18

Tyler Sanders, best known for his role in 9-1-1: Lone Star, has died at the age of 18.

The actor's cause of death is as yet unknown, and an investigation is currently underway.

Tyler is said to have died on Thursday, 16 June, at his home in Los Angeles, TMZ reports.

As well as 9-1-1: Lone Star, Tyler starred in Fear The Walking Dead, and was nominated for an Emmy for his role as Leo in Just Add Magic: Mystery City.

Talent agent Pedro Tapia told the New York Post: "The cause of death is unknown and currently being investigated. We can’t comment further beyond this.

"Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future. He comes from a wonderful family and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time."

Tyler had been acting since the age of 10. As well as starring opposite Rob Lowe in 9-1-1: Lone Star, he appeared in episodes of The Rookie and and 2019 film The Reliant.

Following the tragic news, fans have taken to social media to pay tribute to the young actor, commenting on his last Instagram post with messages of love. "Rip young soul..... My condolences to your family and friends," one person wrote.

"Today is not a good day for me my heartaches and I’m in shock my condolences and prayers to the family," another wrote.

Aged just 18, Tyler had already built up an impressive number of film and TV credits to his name, and had also studied improv and comedy, alongside acting.
