Marvel Fans Spot 'Can't Unsee' Continuity Error In Avengers: Infinity War That 'Ruins Film'

It’s bad news, Marvel-lovers.

It’s bad news, Marvel-lovers. A continuity mistake in Avengers: Infinity War has ‘ruined’ the film for fans.

Audience-viewers will remember the moment in which Tom Holland’s Peter Parker encounters Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark on one of Thanos' ships. It happened around an hour into the 2018 blockbuster film.

Peter says: “You can’t be a friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man if there’s no neighbourhood.”

The camera then pans to Tony’s reaction before turning back to Peter, who explains: “Okay so, that didn’t make sense, but you know what I’m trying to say.”

As it turns out, Holland’s hairstyle is completely different in the first shot to the second, and of course, the whole of Twitter has gone wild over it.

In the first line, Holland sports a slicked-back style, whereas in the second his quiff is a little messier.

Apparently, this has been enough to prompt fans of the movie to believe that the second line was added later during the filming process.

Sharing the very clip from the movie, one social media user wrote: “Currently rewatching Infinity War and I’ll never be able to unsee peter’s sudden change of hairstyle.”

“Why is Marvel so low effort about these really basic fundamental things lol [sic]”, another wrote of the mistake.

“Like, would it have been THAT hard to reference the non-reshoot rushes to make sure that the lighting/blocking/hairstyling/eyeline matched your new shots?”

“Thanks for this, I hate it,” a different viewer penned.

“You’ve absolutely ruined it for me now.”

Avengers: Infinity War is available to watch now on Disney+.
