Chris Evans Brilliantly Explains Why All His Photos At Disneyland Look Photoshopped

Chris Evans has taken to Twitter to confirm that recent photos of him visiting Disneyland aren’t Photoshopped

Chris Evans has taken to Twitter to confirm that recent photos of himself visiting Disneyland aren’t Photoshopped.

On Sunday, 12 June, snaps of Evans posing with characters including Mickey and Minnie Mouse at the California theme park were posted on Pixar’s official Twitter page, to mark the release of Evan’s new flick, Lightyear

However, some fans noticed the images looked suspiciously staged, with one tweeting: “Pixar please don’t lie to me, is he Photoshopped in?” in response.

Evans promptly took to his own social media page to confirm he was there in the flesh.

Evans tweeted: “I promise I’m not photoshopped into these! I just have a very disciplined pose. (And I don’t know what to do with my hands).”

The star recently kicked off the promotional tour for his new film Lightyear, a Toy Story prequel that gives fans an insight into Buzz’s (voiced by Evans) life before he met Woody and the gang.

The film hits cinemas on 17 June and is described as a 'sci-fi action-adventure' which is set to present 'the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear – the hero who inspired the toy'.

Speaking about the project in a statement published on Disney earlier this year, Evans gushed: “The phrase ‘a dream come true’ gets thrown around a lot, but I’ve never meant it more in my life.

"Anyone who knows me knows that my love for animated films runs deep. I can’t believe that I get to be a part of the Pixar family and work with these truly brilliant artists who tell stories unlike anyone else.”

He added: "Watching them work is nothing short of magic. I pinch myself every day.”

During the press tour, Evans was asked whether or not he’d consider playing Captain America again, and Marvel heads will be stoked to hear he didn’t exactly rule it out.

Speaking to Comicbook.com, the actor said that although he knew fans were dying to see Captain America back in action, the superhero’s return would be a ‘tall order’.

Evans explained: "I don't want to disappoint anybody but it's tough to... It was such a good run and I'm so happy with it.

"It's so precious to me. It would have to be perfect. It just would be scary to rattle something that is, again, so, so dear to me. That role means so much to me. So, to revisit it, it would be a tall order."
