Fisherman spots missile from Russia flying over his boat

The Time Bandit crew claimed a rocket was launched from Russia’s side of the border

The Deadliest Catch crew got caught up in a frightening alleged Russian 'missile' attack near the US-Russia border.

Captain Jonathan Hillstrand of the Time Bandit was fishing alongside Captain Keith Colburn of the Wizard in a season 18 episode of the Discovery Channel show.

Check out the scary clip below:

Prior the alleged missile launch, the Wizard reportedly got into an argument with someone on a Russian fishing vessel, which happened to be in US waters.

Captain Hillstrand then headed to the US waters to force the Russian boat to stay on its side of the border.

Not long after returning to nearby Russian waters, the crew saw what looked like a horrifying missile being launched from the Russian border.

“Did Russia shoot a missile, dude?” Hillstrand shouts.

“It’s coming right for us, captain!” a deckhand replied.

“I'll tell you what, I'm not giving away our fishing grounds,” Colburn said.

“So bring it on, Russia. Time Bandit and Wizard, team USA.”

Hillstrand posted a photo of the alleged missile on February 28 while claiming the rocket was moving at a staggering 2,000 miles per hour.

Hillstrand later revealed that the missile was actually heading towards the direction of Anchorage, Alaska.

Commenting on the season 18 episode, one fan tweeted: “I’ve seen this episode on @discoveryplus this morning.

“I felt so scared, for @captjohnathan, Heather, the @FVTimeBandit, and the rest of the crew. It was the scaredest I have ever felt in my life. For, my favorite @DeadliestCatch Captain, and crew (and the @FVTimeBandit too).”

Another fan added: “Holy s**t! I’ll be watching tonight for sure.”

Someone else thought: "Who doesn't love deadliest catch? We love all the captains all the deck crew.

"We just wish you guys the best, and May God be with you when the time gets tough."

“It’s coming right for us, captain!” a deckhand said.

A fourth fan said: "Great video production guys. It almost looks like you had cameras at those various angles airborne with drones.

"But we know that you would have had to have had many drones flying around in those high seas and winds, which would not have been possible but nevertheless, it was a very good production."

While another added: "I love how they think the missile was fired because of them, if it was Russia would have aimed it closer to them and not over them. Though that does make me wonder WHY it was fired."
