I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here is back and Dec couldn’t resist making a joke about his new presenting partner Holly Willoughby in the opening scene.
After a rough year coming to terms with a drug addiction and entering rehab before getting caught drink driving, Ant McPartlin, of Ant and Dec fame, had decided to not present I’m A Celeb for the first time since the show’s inception on UK televisions 16 years ago.
And so, the nation’s favourite day-time TV presenter decided to step in. Enter, Holly Willoughby.
Dec opened up the show by saying:
The more eagle-eyed viewers will have noticed a change on this year’s show.
One of the the nation’s most gorgeous presenters has been joined by Holly Willoughby this year.
Holly laughed before nervously exclaiming the experience is ‘so weird’ because:
Normally around this time of year I’m sat in my front room with a glass of wine watching you.
I’m A Celebrity fans were quick to take to Twitter to praise Holly’s performance standing in for half of the world’s most iconic presenting duos.

However some people were still just missing their yearly dose of Australian Ant:
As much as i like Holly presenting #ImACeleb , it’ll never be the same

There's legit no chemistry between holly and Dec. We need Ant 😥 #ImACeleb

What a way to kick off the new series. Regardless of how Holly and Dec do together (and we’re sure it’ll be flawless), we can’t wait for the next few weeks.
We’re sure there’ll be a lot more where this came from over the next three weeks!
