Despite having not yet been released, the entire Avengers: Endgame film has been leaked online.
As suspense grows while we wait to find out what fate awaits our favourite superheroes, Marvel fans can barely find the patience to chill those extra few hours and watch the film in all its glory.
And although the film’s directors, the acclaimed Russo brothers, have asked fans not to spoil the Endgame, it appears some just couldn’t help themselves and have leaked the entire movie online.
How, you might be asking, if the film hasn’t yet been released? Well, here’s the catch: Avengers: Endgame has been released in China and has had a record-breaking opening so far.
So much so that viewers apparently couldn’t wait to shout about it, against the director’s wishes, and have leaked the footage online.
Chinese users have reportedly been sharing the film around in a 1.2G file along peer-to-peer networks, and it has since made its way overseas to American torrent networks.
If you do go looking for it (which we strongly advise you don’t), Variety warns you most likely won’t like what you find; the quality is apparently terrible, with the image flickering throughout.
As per Variety, TorrentFreak’s report said:
The image flickers constantly throughout.
TorrentFreak reported a source, who said:
It’s semi-rotated and is littered throughout with watermarks for a gambling site that spin around the screen.
Basically, if you do decide to stream it illegally it won’t be worth it. Like, at all.
And with the film having scored a massive 97 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes from critics lucky enough to have seen it already, I’m not sure why you’d want to ruin your experience of the film anyway.
With only a few hours to go until its UK release, things are already looking extremely promising for Avengers: Endgame and it would appear the film is about to surpass expectations, bringing a fitting conclusion to the greatest superhero saga of modern times.
So yeah, don’t be an arsehole and spoil the Endgame.
Avengers: Endgame will be released in the UK on April 25, 2019.
