Iconic Spider-Man Scene Recreated On The Drums Is Truly Mesmerising

A musician has astounded the internet with his sound effects to one of the most iconic Spider-Man scenes starring Tobey Maguire.

Josh Harmon, a TikToker who created 'Rhythms of Comedy' which features on The Tonight Show, has left Spider-Man fans astounded with his rendition of the scene where Maguire's Peter Parker tests out his new-found webs in the school canteen.

Sitting responding to the action taking place on-screen, Harmon uses his drum and snare alongside other utensils to recreate the sound effects of the scene, in turn, leaving social media users in absolute awe.

Armed with a snare, cling film, sponge, and what looks like a fitness band, as well as a stand tom drum, Harmon can be seen closely following along to the scene and replicating the moment where Parker accidentally shoots his web, flinging another student's meal onto the back of another peer's head.

The caption reads: 'Many years ago I was also bitten by a radioactive spider. Except when I woke up my only new power was the ability to recreate sound effects using a snare drum and various kitchen appliances. Nevertheless, I still use my powers for good, fighting ennui with the full force of super drum comedy.'

The musician also addressed his lack of 'big over-ear headphones'.

'That’s because I’ve got brand new in-ear monitors from Asius Technologies. I never thought a piece of technology could impact my day to day well-being so much, but these things are an absolute game changer. They allow me to hear all the subtle details of every sound, and even after hours of loud drumming I feel zero ear fatigue and zero ringing in the ears. I’m on the team that’s helping to develop the pre-production iterations of the product, so as soon as it becomes widely available I’ll be letting everyone know! Yahtzee! Protect your ears! Drum Comedy! Happy New Year!,' the caption reads.

Meanwhile, a third commented: 'It's amazing to think about what you guys are capable of and how essential sound is to bring joy and life to a movie, amazing!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Congratulations!!!!'

Alongside posting a recreation of the sound effects from Spider-Man, Harmon has also covered the likes of Elf, The Office and Netflix's hit series Squid Game.
