Joe Keery Kicked Out Of Stranger Things Group Chat By The Teen Stars

The actor was pushed out by his co-stars

Actor Joe Keery who plays Steve Harrington in Stranger Things has revealed that his co-stars pushed him out of a group chat for not being cool enough.

Joe. who has also starred in movies such as Molly's Game, is 30 years old, making him older than some of his co-stars who are only in their late teens.

As one of the oldest in the group of stars, Keery has admitted to being excluded from the team's group Whatsapp.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, he shared: "I think there was a group chat in Season 2. I’m not in any big group chat now but I think Noah was like [imitates excessive typing]."

He added: "All the kids have a group chat. I’m not in any big group chat now. I’m too old for that. We got booted."

Elsewhere, Stranger Things fans have been left disappointed after it was revealed that the hit series does in fact have an end date in sight.

Volume one of the latest season drew in a staggering amount of views when it dropped on Netflix on 27 May, with fans eagerly awaiting the next instalment of the second half of season four.

Yet after season four winds to a close next month, viewers will be getting just 'one more season' as the sci-fi smash hit concludes with a fifth and final series. While the show's creators Matt and Russ Duffer previously announced in an open letter that season five would be the last, it seems many people were devastated by the confirmation from Netflix.

The latest series has proven to be darker than before, and it's kept viewers on the edge of their seat as they finally came face to face with soul-sucking demon Vecna.

With the second half of the fourth season yet to come and the fifth series being the final hit for Netflix fans, there has been calls for a spin-off season.

One fan tweeted: "We need a spin off series or something, maybe like Twilight Zone, different strange stories every episode based in Hawkins? OR a series set in the world today with the Upside Down making a comeback with a new gang? Or a prequel series set before the 80s with a young Hop and Joyce!"

You can watch the first volume of Stranger Things season four now, with the second volume – comprising two film-length episodes – due to be released on 1 July on Netflix.
