Jenna Ortega has revealed Wednesday season two will scrap a plot thread from season one many fans hated.
Excitement is building for the new season, which is expected to air next year, especially after a batch of new cast members including Billie Piper were revealed, with some other series regulars getting the boot.
And - in what will be music to the ears of many Wednesday fans - Jenna Ortega has confirmed a pretty cool change for season two.
Ortega brought Wednesday Addams to life and will be taking a prominent role in her character development from now on.

The 21-year-old revealed how they are treating the second season and shared with the Variety's Actors on Actors series that she’s stepping up to the plate of producing the season.
"This is my first time [as a producer]," she explained to Elle Fanning.
"It was a natural progression. With a character like Wednesday, who is so beloved, I didn’t want to get her wrong.
"So I tried to have as many conversations as possible with the writers.
"We’d decide what works and what doesn’t. In preparation for a second season, we wanted to make sure that we could start the conversations earlier.

"I’m just so curious: I want to see the outfits, new characters, scripts."
One thing she wanted to focus on was getting rid of something that many shows rely on.
"We’ve decided we want to lean into the horror more," she said.

"We’re ditching any romantic love interest, which is really great.

"We’re going to get bolder, more dark. I’ve never had to do a serious period piece before."
This shifty in direction might have something to do with the recent news that Percy Hynes White, who played one of Wednesday's love interests in season one, will not be returning for season two.
White's Xavier Thorpe and Tyler (Hunter Doohan) formed a love triangle with Wednesday, which fans are glad to see the back of.
One wrote: "I don’t want to see them put thee Wednesday Addams in a love triangle ever again."

Another said: "I'm really excited that they're ditching the love interest and teen drama route for a more horror route because I hated the love triangle thing they were doing with Wednesday."
This isn’t the first time Ortega has hinted at the dark vibes.
In December last year she told Entertainment Tonight that she thinks she could take her character even further.

"I kind of want her to be darker," she explained to ET.
"I want her to get more in the nitty-gritty of things and not play things so safe, because there are a lot of lines about her saving the school and doing whatever, but for me, her main drive with the monster is of a competitiveness.
"Kind of, 'Man, how's this guy doing this?'
"I think I want it to continue down an antihero stream rather than a typical hero."
That includes no man to try and romance her up!
