Netflix viewers saying everyone needs to see 10/10 series they wish they could watch for the first time again

People are flooding to social media in praise of a 'superb' horror series on Netflix which has been renewed for a second season.

If you've already dared watch a 'masterpiece' horror movie, which left one viewer 'emotionally ruined,' then perhaps it's time to really commit to the genre and dedicate your time to a series.

Personally, I can imagine nothing worse than watching a horror all weekend, but if you're a gore fanatic then this series is set to really tickle your pickle.

Plot and cast

The series is a South Korean coming-of-age show based on the webtoon Now At Our School by Joo Dong-guen. The series was created by Chun Sung-il, Lee Jae-kyoo and Kim Nam-su and directed by Lee Jae Gyoo.

It centres around a group of high school students thrust into the midst of a zombie apocalypse when their science teacher carries out a ghastly experiment.

The series stars Little Women's Park Ji-hu who plays the role of Nam On-jo and Delivery Man's Yoon Chan-young as Lee Cheong-san - the pair neigbors and childhood friends.

It also features the likes of Cho Yi-hyun (Metamorphosis) as Choi Nam-ra and Lomon - full name Park Solomon - (Sweet Revenge) as Lee Su-hyeok, alongside The Good Bad Mother's Yoo In-soo as Yoon Gwi-nam and Squid Game's Lee Yoo-mi as Lee Na-yeon.

Initial reception

The series was first released onto Netflix on 28 January, 2022 and it quickly became the 'second most successful K-drama series' on the streaming service, according to What's On Netflix.

In amassed a whopping 362,643,000 hours of watching time in its first 30 days of release.

And it's obtained a solid Rotten Tomatoes audience score of 80 percent and an average tomatometer score of 89 percent too.

Sharing the poster for season one of the series - titled All of Us Are Dead - to LADbible's Facebook group Netflix Bangers, a social media user wrote: "I stumbled across this series & it's amazing. Definitely got hooked and couldn't wait for the next episode. If you like Zombie series then I'd recommend this."

"I wish i could watch this for the first time again," another added.

A third commented: "10/10 I already watched."

And a fourth wrote: "Can't wait for season two."

Indeed, luckily for fans of the series and those who've added it to their 'To Watch' list, Netflix has confirmed it's been renewed for a second season.

Director Lee Jae Gyoo told Hype Beast KR at the time the announcement was made: [Translation] "The story itself was set with season two in mind, so if season two comes out, it might be a little more interesting and expanded story.

"[...] If Season one was a survival period for humans, there is a sense of humor, but Season one feels like it will be a survival period for zombies."

It's not been confirmed when the second season is set for release, but keep your eyes peeled.
