Jacob Elordi accused of assaulting radio host over Saltburn bathwater joke

Jacob Elordi has been accused of assault over an apparent joke about Saltburn's bathwater scene.

Jacob Elordi has been accused of assaulting a radio host over a joke about the infamous Saltburn bathwater scene.

It has been claimed that the star was approached in a beer garden outside a hotel in Sydney by an employee of an Australian breakfast radio show.

Joshua Fox, a producer on The Kyle And Jackie O Show on KIIS FM, claimed during Sunday's episode of the show that Elordi had reacted angrily when he made a joke about the infamous bathtub scene from the movie.

The scene in question sees Barry Keoghan's character, Oliver Quick, drinking semen-laced water out of Felix's (Elordi) bathtub.

According to the BBC, Fox asked the 26-year-old to fill an empty tupperware container with bathwater - something Elordi allegedly didn't take well, according to the radio host.

In a clip posted by KIIS FM, he told the radio show's listeners: "He [Jacob] says 'Hey, are you filming? Can you not?' And I go 'Yeah, that's fine'.

"He then kinda gets up in my face. So close, you know, someone standing over you and he's like taller than me. I could have kissed him he was that close.

"So I'm backed against this wall, he's right in my face... Jacob demands I delete the footage, and I say, 'yeah, that's fine', because we are not going to use it, the joke didn't land."

He also further claimed that Elordi had 'pushed me against the wall and his hands are on my throat'.

The radio presenter allegedly told Elordi that he would delete the footage but later refused to do so because he felt 'intimidated', as well as to keep it as evidence.

Fox went on to say that someone else had reported the incident on his behalf, though he hopes the pair can both 'move on' from the alleged incident.

As reported by Sky News, New South Wales Police Force said in a statement to PA: "Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

Fox says he wants to 'move on' from the alleged incident.

"Police were told about 3.30pm on Saturday 3 February 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man.

"The man did not sustain any injuries."

Fox later took to Instagram to thank people for the 'kind messages' and that he wouldn't be 'discussing or commenting on the Jacob Elordi incident away from what he said on air this morning'.

UNILAD has reached out to Elordi's representatives for comment.
